Local institute volunteers' input and involvement helped to ensure Network Conference 2024 was not only positive but extremely interactive.
The CII’s Communications team has produced a special edition of the Journal, which provides a fantastic and engaging overview of the event, including updates from CEO Matthew Hill, Group Board Chair, Dr Helen Phillips and President, Ian Callaghan on the future plans for the CII and local institutes. All local institute volunteers have been sent a copy.
Highlights of the conference included:
- > The CII leadership team giving an update on the five-year Strategic Plan, answering questions from members about progress and next steps.
- > Delegates sharing good practice surrounding the ongoing ‘Realigning the Partnership’ initiative launched last year to improve the support provided to local institutes by the CII.
- > Updates on three key CII projects, membership via professional experience, the Professional Map, and corporate engagement – allowing delegates to have their say!
- > Recent New Generation groups talking about their participation on our flagship talent development programme.
The event closed with the Volunteer Awards which celebrated those who have gone ‘the extra mile’ within their local insurance institute or PFS Regional Committee.
Many questions were asked and answered on the day, which you can feed back to your fellow council members – we are also now pleased to be able to share the responses for the questions that we didn’t have time to answer at the conference. Please see the document link below.
