Your local institute’s key role is to deliver a local membership proposition that is relevant and fit for purpose. This proposition will cover an inclusive CPD programme, a networking black tie annual dinner, revision support and social activities. The development of this proposition will be achieved through the effective development and management of your local institute council. Following on from the success of the CIIs Professional Focus conferences this year, we have now set dates for the 2020 round of the conferences.
The team are currently working on developing two potential initiatives to further support stand-alone online CPD delivered by each of the institutes.
Many reports, including The Future Skills in the London Market have identified the need for the insurance sector to invest in its ability to innovate.
Members opted-in to receive email communications from their local institute are now benefitting from a new monthly communication, which provides a round-up of the latest learning and development accessible via the CII.
During 2020 the Chartered Insurance Institute undertook a project to introduce digital qualification and membership certificates. Member feedback helped shape the process and we have also refreshed the look and feel of all individual membership certificates (from Certificate and Diploma through Advanced Diploma to Fellowship and Chartered).
